Creating a user-focused website means understanding your users so we undertake user experience research to help us identify their key attributes.
We want to know what your primary users’ goals and objectives are when they come to your website. We want to know about their preferences and what they need to go away happy.
We also want to identify each user type’s journey through your website so we can maximise the chances of this journey resulting in a conversion.
Every user who arrives at your site also brings with them knowledge of your competitors’ websites so part of researching user experience is understanding what your competitors are doing and the industry benchmarks.
All of our findings contribute to the creation of a content plan, an information architecture and navigation plan, an accessibility plan, and a webpage element structure plan which we communicate in a wireframe (as outlined in the web design section).
