Gödel Technologies Europe is a leading supplier of high quality software development services, specialising in enterprise application development, system integration and business automation tools.

Gödel provides software development services to a wide range of companies and has extensive experience in scientific, telecoms (VOIP), financial and process automation environments.

 

The brief


Gödel Technologies’ website was out of date and didn’t really reflect their current proposition. The site wasn’t generating a strong sense of brand nor was it supporting Gödel’s key business objectives.

The website was not playing a significant part in Gödel’s new business process or generating new business leads.

Search engine marketing hadn’t been considered when the site was built and, in its current state, would not have been able to support a search engine marketing campaign successfully.

The site’s content was out of date because the marketing team did not have access to a comprehensive content management system which allowed them to easily update the content.

 

The project


We started with a period of consultation. We discussed Gödel’s key business goals for the year ahead and how Gödel wants to position itself in the marketplace. The results of these discussions helped us to formulate an approach to the redesign process.

We did a comprehensive competitor analysis which helped us to understand the standard the Gödel website needed to achieve to compete with companies offering a similar service in their market.

We then undertook extensive user-research to determine the website’s core audience and their needs and goals. We also researched the buying process for Gödel’s various types of customer and how online fits into that process.

The results of this research, combined with our findings in the consultation with Gödel, enabled us to generate a digital marketing strategy and the website’s structure, functionality, content and page layout.

 

The result


The new Gödel website features an intuitive content management system which allows non-technical members of staff to manage the website and update the content.

The site is structured in a way which enables users to get to information about Godel’s services and experience quickly, whilst also being able to see relevant case studies and testimonials. 

The site is more visible in the main search engines for search terms which are central to Gödel’s proposition, and as a result, the site has seen a week on week increase in traffic since going live. The site has also seen a marked increase in the average number of page views per visitor and the amount of traffic from search engines. The site’s bounce rate has seen a significant decrease and the site is ready to support a search engine marketing campaign.
